‘Proef de stad’ is hét nieuwe culinaire evenement van Amsterdam. De organisatie is in handen van een bijzonder stel Amsterdamse topwinkels dat hun passie voor het vak met de bezoeker wil delen. Op informele wijze wordt men geïnformeerd en kunnen uiteenlopende producten uitgebreid worden geproefd.
Het evenement vindt plaats op zondagmiddag 15 maart 2009 van 12:00 tot 17:30 uur in het Lloyd Hotel, aan de Oostelijke Handelskade te Amsterdam.
Tijdens ‘Proef de Stad’ staat, hoe kan het ook anders, het ‘proeven’ centraal. Na het voldoen van het bescheiden entreebedrag van € 17,50, kan men zich zonder bijbetaling tegoed doen aan talloze specialiteiten, gepresenteerd op verschillende stands. De mooiste vis, vleesspecialiteiten, koffie, brood, kazen, patisserie, vers gemaakt ijs, noten, paddenstoelen en natuurlijk de lekkerste wijnen ingeschonken door de wijnmakers zelf!
Tijdens het evenement worden tevens masterclasses wijn en masterclasses food georganiseerd waar de deelnemers deskundig worden geïnformeerd en uitvoerig kunnen proeven.
